This year I decided to use the Easter occasion for visiting a new place in my country. I decided to go to Harghita, which is around 6 hours far from Bucharest. I was in the mood to spend couple of days very close to nature to recharge my body and mind after so many months of no sun and low temperatures. To remember there is a lovely sun and flowers and fresh air away from the grey Bucharest. To see only yellow and green and blue. Continue reading
When I travel, even if it’s for one day or more, I like to have a nice place to stay. In Romania people don’t pay so much attention to details, or if they do, they require a lot of money for that place (80-100 eurs or more). Continue reading

I always loved the villages and simple life in nature. But I never saw villages so beautiful as the ones close to Sighisoara (Romania), not to mention the landscapes are so simple, but so wonderful.
If you are in the area of Sighisoara, make a small visit to Biertan. Continue reading
I discovered my favorite city in Romania – Sighisoara. It’s exactly in the center of the country, which makes it a little difficult to go there from Bucharest. The trip can get to 7 hours because the roads are not so fantastic and you have highway only between Bucharest – Pitesti. Plus some of the roads are under construction. But I like to be on the road so for me worth a trip until there.
The city center which is actually a fortress is magic, full of colors and little streets waiting to be discovered. It’s not big, one day is enough to see it, but you can also make a trip to the villages close the Sighisoara. Most of them are really wonderful, with colored houses and fortified churches. I saw Biertan and I wished for having some blankets to make a picnic in the middle of the nature. Continue reading
- a lot of girls. If less is better in fashion, for a girls party – more is better
- a lot of positive energy
- a great location (in our case Sibiu)
- good weather and sun
There are not so may things to be done at Mogosoaia, but a casual afternoon to spend there worths it. You can have a picnic, take some fresh air or just have the lunch to the restaurant. The menu of the restaurant is more romanian style with mici, sauasages and a lot of meet but you can find also some poor salads and sweets.
